I think now that our young guys are more familiar with the system, and knowing what they can’t get away with on the ice we will see less defensive breakdowns which should help goalies out. That’s not to say Ruffs system isn’t the easiest on goalies. I will be happy with league average goaltending.
Injuries happen unfortunately, but no doubt Schmid and Daws will get another crack at the NHL at some point in the near future.
I think we’re going to get solid goaltending this year. It will at least be good enough that I don’t think it’s going to hold us back from success.
