  1. A great season and experience for this young team. This man is a phenominal coach and as classy as they come. The NYR are in good hands.

  2. I'll say it .Need a couple more Physical defensemen and a couple more bigger guys . Go big or Go Home

  3. Thks Coach

G Bettman i blame for not stepping in here,

    45 days w no break,WHAT,BS Gary B

Anybody woulds ran outta gas, Gary shoulda stepped in n commanded some breather days, thats bs. He probably said, oh no we gotta contract, the Rangers got Screwed.

  4. I hope Trouba's elbow can heal up in the offseason. So many players rammed their head into it this playoffs.

  5. Scratching Kakko for game 6 is a head scracther (no pun), but if people are expecting him to get up there and say "I made one bad move and it cost us the whole season," it's not going to happen, any more than he's going to say "I hope Ryan Strome never stops thinking about the shot he fanned on in game 5." Pretty clear that's not his style, at least in public, and I have a lot of respect for that. It would be easier to throw red meat at the reporters than to stick to one's guns and try to keep the focus on the future. If you think that's a cop-out, or that you'll see an AV-style lack of reflection behind closed doors on what didn't work, I can understand that, because we've been burned before. But for me, that's not what we're looking at. This strikes me as building a culture that focuses ahead, looks back for things to use but not to live in the past, and tries to get better every day. Maybe I'm wrong, but I hope not.

  6. Thank you for your leadership and being the stand-up man that you are!!! Let’s Go Rangers from STL 👍

  7. He’s absolutely wrong about Strome. Strome looked slow and lacked any explosiveness in his skating in games 5-6. Strome was basically a slow moving obstacle for the other team. He had no business being out there in n the ice if the Rangers’ intention was winning. This team will never win a cup unless it learns to play with more urgency and stop hanging Shesterkin out to dry. I’d love to see Panarin more commmited to a 200 ft game instead of playing slack ass D and trying to cherry pick will taking 3 minute shifts. Gallant needs to take some responsibility for this playoff exit. He needs to do a better job managing ice time, there is a reason the team was exhausted, he definitely leaned too heavily on the top lines.

  8. Our Coach did great Only 2 things I didnt agree with and last 2 games I would of had Reaves out there and I would of had the kid line finish together because they knew they were difference makers and I wanted to see them with the backs against our walls again with our best lines

  9. Who cares about Kakko I was glad he didn't dress, he plays as if its a sin to shoot on goal….hope they trade him.

  10. It's really bittersweet that there won't be another game for us to watch this season! But we had a great season and it was fun to watch us get as far as we did. I hope the Rangers can duplicate their success next year and actually make it to the SCF…

  11. Hope they can improve the audio by training camp. Still leaves a lot to be desired, can't hear most questions.

  12. Job well done coach & entire Rangers team!! Proud to be part of such a great organization!!!! Next year we will be unbelievable!!!! That I do believe !!! LGR !!! 🙏🏽🏒🎉❤️

  13. Love that he's our Coach! Looking forward to some good years in NY! LETS GO RANGERS!!!

  14. Yes It hurts, but this run we had will not go to waist. Great coaching and the heart of these players can only make the NYR better. Can't wait till September..Thank you fellas.

  15. Great season for NY. It's a positive for sure. Was hoping they took it all with a big finger to Bettman lol my team is finishing a 11 year rebuild so I can't root for NY next year lol

  16. Had some things I disagreed with however I think coach did a great job this team gave us everything I'm so proud of this team and how they battled ..I'm proud of the year they had ..thank you Chris Drury ..coach gallant it was an amazing run …no shame losing to Tampa a class organization…Igor hats off to an amazing talent…training camp in Sept can't wait ..let's go rangers !!!

  17. People do not get ahead of yourselves you don't usually go from not making the playoffs for 4/5 years and instantly you are a contender team is young and needs to continue to grow and get better.

  18. As a student of the game hockey, my final thoughts, observations. First and foremost kudos to President/ General Manager Chris Drury and his personnel team for a job well done throughout this season 👏 The blueprint was laid by the previous regime which you took part in it. You didn't deviate from it. You were true the belief of starting fresh. Much respect to you! Coach Gallant bka "Turk" kudos to you as well for keeping it real all season with the players and because of that, the team bought into your program /system as to the requirements expected from each individual in order to be successful. Successful we were for 82 games (which I personally consider preseason games). Then starts the real season, "Playoffs " where only 8 teams from the east and west conference enter into a joust amongst each other for the right to claim, hoist up the Stanley Cup 🏆 and be acknowledge as World Champions. Message To The Young Core! Experience is the best teacher! You now understand what is expected from you, what challenges you will be confronted with. The playoffs are not for the faint of heart! It's a different animal not given to the swift or strong, only to the team that endures to the end. Simply put, it's not a sprint but a marathon! Individually, perfect your strengths, correct your weaknesses, get stronger physically and be stronger mentally as well. Message To The Veterans!! You claim/say that "Igor (goalie) is our/the best player on the team" because he consistently keeps us in games for 60 whole minutes including overtime if necessary. If that's how you feel about him, I don't disagree at all however, I am deeply concerned that you don't see yourself as one of the best players on the team who consistently brings his A game to the rink for 60 minutes or overtime if needed . It didn't show up in the Tampa Bay series once we Rangers went into their house. Respectfully speaking, I suggest you (veterans) do a self inventory of self and make a serious investment, a serious commitment on becoming better individual 5 on 5 players scoring consistently for 60 minutes and if needed, overtime. Not being cable of accomplishing that by our veterans in this last series with the 2x defending Stanley Cup Champion Tampa Bay shows that we still have some areas that will need attention to during the off season. It's a process but it will be taken care of. Until then job well done 👏 LGR

  19. There is no reason not to play kakko in game 6. Terrible decision and he didnt even tell the kid. Hunt, Rooney, and a hurt strome…. that's how you've been winning playoff games? I like gallant, but if that decision came from him it wasnt a good one.

  20. Real simple. Very good young team with a good coach. Team went deeper than expected & has a good chance of going further next year. Coaching was excellent with the interviews but made a few mistakes; biggest mistake no one talks about is Not using his timeouts properly (especially in the last 3 minutes of a game 3 when they were gassed), playing Strome, not playing the kid line & Greeves. While I use to want the team that beat my team to take it all, there is no way Tampa or any other team to beat the AV's. Stanley Cup was last week when AV's swept Oilers.

  21. Solid move to break up your most consistent and defensively responsible line to play and obviously injured player and a fourth liner.

  22. I got used to enjoying the post season without being emotionally tied. I'm over that now. We have the means to go deep for years to come. It's a great day to be a Rangers fan! Yes indeed! Yes indeed! Thank you coach and all the staff and players for an excellent season. My only problem is choosing my next sweater. The last one I bought was the day #36 resigned. I'm leaning towards Lingren. Soooo much heart! Trouba is a beast. Fox, Miller, so many worthy options. Such a hard choice to make.

  23. I’m sorry but as a STH since 82, (family not just me), that was no where near the best lineup. That was ridiculous. Puck drop game 5, Maroon said on YouTube he knew they gave up. Coach decisions were a joke with that lineup.

  24. I’m fascinated how his French accent sounds so much like an east coast Italian wise guy.
