Honestly not a bad game. Good hustle and opportunities all game. Second period was kinda bleh but they bounced back in the 3rd. I like the energy and speed some of our guys are showing, and I really like the Hayes/Tippett connection. I like them on the same line. Sprinkle in Cam and Coots and TK and I feel like we won’t be total pushovers in this system. I know many of you don’t wanna hear that and want us to tank but I don’t think that’s gonna happen.
Hate when we lose that close to the end. But a lot of guys looked good tonight. I’m big on Noah Cates. Love him

1-5-1 with 8 goals in the preseason. This is going to be a fun year, /s.
After watching almost all the pre season games, not really sure how they’re turning anything around. Team just looks a step behind and struggled even still with the islanders who I wouldn’t say is that good. Gonna be rough facing teams when they’re using everyone and trying to win/compete.
The Flyers are on prime mid-season form… it’s going to be a long 82 games
That actually wasn’t a terrible game by the Flyers. Ersson looked pretty good. Noah Cates looked good.
It was actually entertaining the whole time. I don’t think they are going to win many games this season, but if they play like that most of the time I think they will win more than most people on this sub are expecting.
Grosenick better be buried as like the 3rd string goalie down in the AHL.
