I know it is hard to be traded out of the blue from a team that you gave everything too. All I know is the Calgary Flames are a heck of a lot better with this trade and are now real playoff contenders as they got rid of the pretenders.
Huby may not be a Panther anymore but I wish him nothing but success. It would be hard to have the rug pulled out from under you unexpectedly. Give them both some time to get settled in their heads.

He was literally invisible for the Panthers in the playoffs. In fact his this was his worst playoffs. I don't think he will be much better than Gaudreau except Gaudreau scores more goals.
Kadri had a great season but the year before he only had 11 goals and something like 50 ish points… So…are the Flames getting last season Kadri or the season prior?
This could..potentially turn into another signing like James Neal or Troy Brouwer…but I know the Flames really had no other options.
