Idc make it happen. Tkachuk is the missing element of this team. Picks don’t matter until Crosby is gone. Poulin,kapenen,nylander, whatever it takes you’d be stupid not to at least throw your hat in the ring

Would love it. But, I don't see the Pens having anyone available to trade to land him.
Since we are doing a pie in the sky speculation thing, I would say the Pens lost any remote chance of acquiring this guy when they kept Malkin. Would he have enticed calgary into a trade if we threw in a bunch of other assets? So much attention is paid to the forwards and goal tending, but not nearly enough to the D who can make the forwards we have look better if they were better/stronger/tougher. I think thats where the pens woes have been… on D…for a long time. it's a unit..its just not forwards and goaltending

DK, what happened? In the old days, you used to discourage speculation about package deals. Have you, too, now been sucked into the vortex?
Tkachuk is by far my favorite non penguins player in the league, he plays with so much passion, and consistent ferocity, which makes him such an asset to any team that has him. as much of a boost for the pens as a whole it would be to acquire Mathew, there are just to many other teams, with so much more trade value at their disposal, it's nice to dream tho until a deal gets done 🤞
