  1. So, the Bruins, with less then 2.4M in cap space, are going to bring back Krejci, re-sign Bergeron and Lazar? Good luck with that.

  2. Cassidy is tied with Milt Schmidt for third place in regular-season coaching wins with the Bruins with 245. That stat might surprise a lot of people.

  3. I’ve been saying don sweeney has needed to go since last season let alone this one, the bruins really need to start thinking rebuild with their core aging the way it is and he is not the type of gm you want for that and I’m not a fan of cam Neely as president either. It’s what some might call a boys club with the two of them at the top and I’m gonna miss Bruce very much and I don’t feel like he was the one who needed to be fired. We’ll see who the next coach is gonna be but if it’s Babcock I’ll probably rip my hair out and scream in rage hahaha

  4. I’m torn Cassidy is definitely a coach that got more out of the players he had my biggest complaint was the providence players that came up never got a true chance to play a role for a solid 6-10 games to find out if they can be nhl’ers I’d be angry at a coach that consistently names me to the media to me coaches should keep failings in the locker instead of in the media I look at the injuries as an opportunity for the players from prov to prove they belong the shorter season for the injured could also be a positive come playoff time bruins must get younger but krecji coming back with hall and pasta would be great that would be the top line to keep the team afloat early this year will prove if Sweeney’s drafts can step up l myself have been wanting a new gm for a couple of years but Neely is too close to Sweeney to let him go

  5. It'll be interesting to hear the backstories once the dust settles from the firing. Overall, I like Cassidy. However, this last postseason wasn't his best. He was low man on the totem pole

  6. Keep Marchand, Bergeron, Hall, Haula, Pastrnak, DeBrusk, Lazar, Smith, McAvoy, Lindholm, Carlo, Zboril, Ullmark and Swayman. Sell everyone else

  7. Why don’t they fire jack edwards. Yeah I know he’s not a coach or anything but jack edwards should go play in the street

  8. Firing Bruce Cassidy is like giving away your top two draft picks for the next five years! Idiots….

  9. Poor draft picks, bad trades, almost empty farm system, cap hell and a good coach gets fired. Well done Sweeney, Neely. Your jobs are safe … until 3 months into next season when the Bruins are near the bottom of the league.

  10. As a long time Bruins fan Cassidy was one of the worst coaches this team has ever had. The biggest problem is how many times did our players get hurt and we never had any enforcers to make sure it wouldn't happen time and time again. Too soft of a team year after year.

  11. Can’t wait to see this blow up in upper managements face! Wish Bruce nothing but success.

  12. When the hell are they going to fire Don Sweeney and Cam Neely?! They are the reason why this organization sucks and as usual they blame the coach! Bunch of rocket scientist up in Boston!
