  1. I’ll take zegras over eichel, zegras is probably the 2nd most skilled nhl player of all time right behind mcdavid

  2. Keeping Zegras over Eichel is just common sense. Zegras is an elite talent who just came into the league. Eichel is peaking in his mid-20s already. Zegras is obviously the better choice long term for the Ducks' rebuild.

  3. Yall gotta chillllllll. Dont start overrating Zegras hes gonna be amazing, but i just saw a mf say hes the 2nd most skilled player of all time….. can we relax? If u seriously believe that please stop watching hockey. Also y are mfs acting like Zegras is already a superstar, he will get there but hes not even close rn lol

  4. Zegras closer to Cousins or Krebs than Eichel. Eichel is a at another level. Everyone will see that in a couple months with Vegas.

  5. I mean Eichel his first few years had no one on that team. The Ducks have some players. The fact Eichel was at like a point per game on that team at that age is way more impressive then what Zegras is doing. I don't even think it's even in the ball park.

  6. Also another key point is salary. Zegras on an ELC with his production and expected production is a much better value than eichels production with his large contract

  7. I would have refused too, i know the Sabres have shitty owners but im just not a fan of Eichel's attitude tbh

  8. I wish the ducks could have gotten eichel without giving up zegras. I think Mason mctavish plus rakell or manson is a better offer than what vegas traded

  9. did you see brandon mcnally of the cardiff devils video? canucks need to get this guy.

  10. The fact that one Anaheim is a bad team that will need 4 years of tuning now to be really good, and fact jack is going to 4 years away from end of prime years, is bad timing plus what the cost would be to aquire him and small risk in surgery would put ducks in worse position by probably not being ready in the 4 year time-line meaning jack will be 31 and only have 3 more prime years, and probably 5 years after. In which case you have to win or start blowing it up again after only about 10 years.

  11. So instead of TREVOR ZEGRAS!!! they would rather have Krebs???? and a CONDITIONAL 1st rounder? Oh and they gave away a 2nd.

  12. Im so sad Zegras went 9th overall. Canuck were 10th and got pod sigh 🙁

  13. Good. As a Ducks fan, I don’t really want him. We’re not in a position in the next two years to make a cup run, and any cup run we make will have to be built up from the young guns

  14. Who cares about Zegras really the Sabres got the better center Krebs. Zegras can do lacross type goals thats great for him hes still a shitty player overall

  15. Nowadays everybody wanna talk like they got something to say
But nothing comes out when they move their lips
    Just a bunch of gibberish
And motherfuckers act like they forgot about Eichel

  16. Because Zegras is the best player the Ducks had since Bobby Ryan. If they lose Zegras, it will not suit well for the fans. Since Bobby Ryan left, it left a bad taste in the mouth of Ducks fans.

  17. Speaking at a Red Wings fan myself and someone that has watch Pavel Datsyuk throughout the years he definitely has some characteristics and the creativity mindset of one such Datskuk.. and I don't use that comparison lightly.. A bit Datsyukian🤙😉

  18. Hey let’s stop calling it the Michigan we’re calling it a Z pass!!! Or call it the Anaheim lol

  19. As a die hard Ducks fan I am so happy we didn't make this trade.

Eichel is a great player no doubt. But Zegras is a special player mark my words. His presence on the ice is electrifying and he has that ability to change a game. He also makes players around him better (Milano). And he's not even 21 years old so watch when this kid gets older! Drysdale is also a talented player who will come into his own with age.

We have a good youth movement in Anaheim. The team is finally turning a corner with their play on ice. And Murray is out as GM so the culture change can truly take place. Eichel wants to win now and Vegas was probably the best fit for him. I wasn't comfortable with the Ducks mortgaging the future for Eichel. Sabres wanted way too much in return. We have a good young core in Z, Terry, Drysdale, Comtois, Mctavish etc

  20. Looks like right now TZ is potential is going to blow past Kappo why the Rangers didn’t draft him is beyond me a real potential Franchise guy very soon where all is going to sign for 2.5M AAV to see if he can ever reach his potential just awful
