  1. we need a 3rd line center back as well as a d man to play with hughes and a prospect. my take is miller for severson, mcleod and mukhamildullan. maybe garland too for another player and a pick.

  2. As a Devil's fan, Miller was honestly my last choice for scoring wingers this off season but since Fitzgerald couldn't get his act together for the other 5, here we are. I do think that NJ is in serious trouble if Bratt isn't signed by Wednesday. As per the Atlantic: 'According to 10 years worth of results provided by the NHLPA, 27 players have gone to an arbitration hearing since 2009. Within three years, 21 of those players were on different teams.' I think that puts a little urgency in NJ but I would be concerned about resigning Miller after this season when we are literally just across the river from his old team.

  3. Hey personally, I’d love this trade for New Jersey if it was straight up, 1-1. But that’s not happening lmao

  4. No way to this trade. We should keep Miller for 22-23 season and cut him loose when contract is done. He is a beast and he brings a lot of moral to the team. We ain't going to get any good trade for Miller because of his age. I think we should keep him for the season. Unless they are willing to give up a 2nd round pic and Luke Huges there's is nothing to say.

  5. Muk is a really nice prospect, really fast and smooth skater for his size and has been Russia’s #1 dman at every tournament as a junior. I think he’s definitely valuable and can be a solid #3 dman. That being said I understand why Vancouver would hesitate

  6. just pay Miller for 60 games. If hes not 60 points by the deadline then he doesnt deserve the contract.

If hes under 60, WE HAVE LEVERAGE

If hes over 60, we have more trade value

if hes consistent, we can sign him feeling good or we can move him for more

  7. Players should want a cup over money! It sucks that a players value is based on the money he makes, OR they should be paid based on their last season, not what they're expected to do.

  8. I don't see New Jersey as a playoff team. Why would they trade anyone at all for a 1 year rental when they could just sign Miller next off season…if they can't then what's the point?

  9. Why…why make a video of a stupid article that holds no merit!! I wouldn’t trade Garland for that guy let alone JT Miller! Absolutely ridiculous!!

  10. give it a rest! Milsy will be a Canuck until he retires and we raise his Jersey to the rafters!!

  11. As an oilers fan, Van would never make this trade. Zero chance. NJ would need to throw in a +A plus prospect plus 1st rounder.

  12. Love those thumbnails dawg it gets me everytime now ggs… ggs

  13. I don't see how the deal benefits anyone – for the Canucks, the return just isn't that great. For the Devils, they are getting Miller with an expiring contract – I see the Devils a little bit similar to the Canucks in that their window to contend is still some years away, so Miller's prime does not fit in that time frame. It would be foolish to sign Miller to a long-term deal and see him be a big-ticket, past-his-prime player when the rest of the Devils team is finally able to contend.

  14. Mukhamadullin is actually the player drafted with the Canucks first that was traded to Tampa for JT Miller that was then flipped to NJ for Blake Coleman

  15. If Jersey would offer a conditional 1st with Severson and Mukhamadulin, I think it's a good return for Miller. Maybe add a 3rd or Dermott to even it out a bit.

  16. Devils and the Canucks seem to have been rumored for awhile in a few trades. JT Miller is a solid player but why make a trade for him when he will be a UFA next season? If he has a great season like last year the Devils can make an offer to him then if interested. Making a trade now means the Devils would have to give up assets and try to resign him before the end of next season or he walks.

  17. So we're moving on from the Canucks Stars trade rumors you talked about before even though news broke recently that Klingberg parted ways with his agent?

  18. Not enough… (from Vancouver's perspective); agree, though: Van management have to look at the Calgary M.T. trade, and allow a team to confirm a signed extension for Miller before a deal is made. Look at the haul Calgary got from that strategy! Take note, Allvin!

  19. To me it’s all about Nemec. If he plays this year then Severson has no spot. However I would like them not to rush Nemec, play him in the AHL and let him dominate. Severson is a good player, but for the contract extension he will want, it will be very hard to keep him, considering the Marino deal. If a trade works for Miller, then that’s great, but I can’t imagine that happens without some more higher level prospects going to VAN

  20. Miller has best value as a rental to a contender team like Colorado his next contract is going to be an anchor most likely

  21. I mean debrincat only got 7th overall and he is 24years old 40 goal scorer so miller not gonna return as much as u hope most likely I mean even Fiala had more value than him and return was nothing much
