  1. Montgomery never stays in one place for very long but the results are impressive. Denver was on the decline when he got there in 2013, and four years later he won it all with one of the best teams of the modern era in college hockey. It’s too bad Dallas couldn’t beat the Blues in 2019. It probably would have led to another Cup for the Bruins.

  2. This is a great hire…being from Maine and watching Monty win a National Championship in ‘93….everyone who has been around this guy knows he is different. Passionate, driven, incredible leader, and a proven winner. Get ready for the Belichick version of the Bruins, so pumped! Let’s Go!

  3. I love the pod but you guys should think of changing the intro song, I feel like I hear that opener everywhere.

  4. Players pushed Cassidy out for making them accountable. So now they had to pick a coach who is the opposite. That’s a slippery slope, letting players dictate your moves

  5. What a horrible trade! Cassidy for Montgomery. We should have traded Sweeney for a case of beer!

  6. I think it was incredibly idiotic to fire Cassidy if they fired anyone it should have been Sweeney he hasn’t done Jack shit with the Bruins

  7. No red flags for Montgomery? Fired for mysterious reasons. He's a US college coach, so, since the Bruins don't know Canadian junior hockey exists, he's the natural choice.

  8. GET RID OF SWEENEY AND NEELY OMFG.
Cassidy should have never been fired. Should have been given at least 1 more season.
Jim is a good players coach. But idk if this will make much of a difference with such a lack of depth

  9. Oh Boy! More Wussy Hockey on the Way! So Glad the Bruins are sticking with the NHL's Woke Diarrhea.

  10. What? Bruins drop Bruce Cassidy and prefer Jim Montgomery? It's another prank from comedy duo Neely-Sweeney. There are still some who believe that Coach Cassidy was the problem? You will be disillusioned. The next season won't be so bad because as the saying goes "all new all beautiful". But afterwards, the rout will resume. Why? For the same reason the Oilers, Rangers, Maple Leafs, Golden Knights, Predators, Jets, Stars, Kings and Flames were knocked out of the playoffs: one offensive line worthy of that name, no more than two caliber defensemen and erratic goalies. The same causes generate the same effects!

  11. Good to know after Claude, the best the Bs could do was an AHL neverwas and now and abusive alcoholic. Oh yeah, Neely and Sweeney are so wonderful. 🤣😂🤣

  12. Guys Have you forgotten why and how he lost his Job in Dallas? its not like the Dallas Cowboys as far as media pressure. He is an alcoholic and he fell off the wagon, to what?? coaching pressure? on the Stars? so Boston in 2022/23 season is going to be less pressure?? I' am a recovering alcoholic too, AA is about suppressing your EGO, your pride. Being a competitor is the opposite. Even coaching in the NHL or any where else. recovery and competition are 2 opposite philosophies, is he ready emotionally to juggle that in just 2 years? I'm having issues with it after 7 years, my place of competition is Wall St, and I am the same age as Montgomery. Don't get me wrong I hope he does do it, and wins the cup. It will help 1000s of people in recovery too. I guess we are going to find out….Buckle up Bruins Fans…

  13. He seems like a great guy, and he has a proven track record, but is Boston really the best city for someone who is a recovering alcoholic? Or at the very least, someone who had enough issues with alcohol where it cost him his job.
