  1. Amazing win.

I give the Phils 25% credit
I give the Cards 75% credit

We had good at bats getting walks going long counts against their closer and made good contact..

However the Cards absolutely gave the game away. Hitting batters, multiple Infield ground balls fielding errors. They imploded.

I'm glad it was them and not us. One of the biggest choke jobs I've seen in a long time.

    We gonna sweep this team.

  2. I'm unbelievably happy that we won, don't get me wrong. especially in the fashion that we did. and I'm a huge Phillies fan! but……

even if we somehow eek out another win in the next 2 days, we gotta play the braves….and THAT s-u-c-k-s sucks sucks sucks!

  3. I'll say it again: Phillies are more dangerous on precipice. I won't be surprised if they win all the games on the way to the world series coming from behind.

  4. Can someone explain to me, how it is fair that the home field team in these wild card rounds has all 3 games at home if necessary? Without the lower seeded team even getting 1 game at home. Seems like a distinct advantage for the team that obtained the home field advantage.

  5. Phillies lose this game I don't think they have a chance to win the series. Now tho! We got a real shot at this thing.. need team to make it to divisional and I chalk up a win on the season….home playoff game is now a possibility

  6. Rob Thomson should not have pulled Zack Wheeler. He should have finished the 7th inning. They need to stop obsessing over pitch count. He got away with it this game, but it was still the wrong move.

  7. On a scale of 1-10. how confident are we in Nola tomorrow evening to bring us home?

  8. What a game forsure. It was definitely cool to hear Michael Kay call a Phillies game. Those who are familiar with him know he calls all the yankees games during the season and I believe he is one of the best currently in the business. I thought St Louis overplayed their hand. Quintana was pulled way too early which caused the cards to use 3 additional arms coming out of the Pen. Helsley most likely won't be available tmw which is huge. I'm definitely worried when it comes to our bullpen. I thought we lost the game when Wheeler got pulled. It's imperative that we close it out tmw. Considering the majority of St Louis's lineup is Righties and Switch Hitters I'm not a big fan of Suarez pitching game 3 however if we close it out tmw we won't have to worry about it.

  9. Who saw that 9th inning coming,,,,not me…the Phil’s were handcuffed for eight innings….it just goes to show ya never turn off a Phillies game before it’s over like I did……I had to hunt for how they won it….yes I’m pissed at myself….

  10. Awesome but come on.This was a Shocker.I never fealt this coming, shit nothing clicked until the 9th.I agree, Phillies finish it off.

  11. Phillies Baby!! What A Game!! Red October!! 6 run 9th inning!! We gonna finish it off tomorrow!! #PHI ❤️⚾️🔔🏙2️⃣1️⃣5️⃣❗️❗️❗️

  12. Fucking manager pulling pitcher with 1 out , knew reliever would give up runs that inning.. if you watched all year , it happens all the time.. leave the pitcher in, if he's not in trouble.. Fuck the pitch count.. omg, how come everyone I know , understands this.. if I was the owner that wouldn't happen.. the starters must get pissed, I would never come out if throwing no-hitter,. Fuck that

  13. That Cardinals manager, where do I start. Looking smug in the dugout as his closer blows up.. Oh, that's right, nobody up in the pen….. Hensley faked a hand injury to give the reliever time to warm up. Bottom of the 9th, one out. The best hitter left was SS DeLong. He's not even batting ( .157 ) his weight. Thank you Cardinals. ✌

  14. No time to bask in the achievement, push forward, fight harder now! Let's go Phillies!
