Hi clay thanks for the video I'm really glad that didn't go got to shout out I watched the game on tonight's TV it was really kind of cool to see what it's like at the the game as far as the trade goes I'm very happy I've been saying for months and months that we had to get rid of Dickinson I don't mind the the second draft pick for next year because like you said we might get them back and I don't know anything about this defenseman but I'm glad that we have another defenseman considering all the injuries and I hope everybody comes back soon take care of clay God bless you good night

We traded a 3rd to acquire Dickenson, and now shipped a 2nd to get rid of him (and get a 3rd pairing d-man back)… such a steep price to pay to offload a bad contract. But I guess the Canucks really did not have much of a choice as they would have been over the cap if I remember correctly. I still think the Canucks should look into the waiver wire and grab a RHD. Stillman is young, fast, and tough, but he is another LHD and has no offensive upside. He likely would be battling to get into the lineup if not waived to some time down the road…

Yeah, a shut-out, but, where are the highlights? I'm seeing them for the other guys, not my team.
I'm still not a happy camper over losing Motte, however, I really like the Stillman-Dickenson trade & figure that the who's who will finally get Horvat inked.
Not good to hear you read off that list of injured players. Next year the Canucks should wrap each player in bubble wrap until the regular season starts.
This ownership sucks. Can't even afford buying out a fringe bottom 6 C with a cap hit of 2.65 million with 2 years left. I would have just bought out Dickinson and not trade a 2nd round pick away.
Riley Stillman provides the Canucks with someone experienced on the penalty kill, and is a fast skating, defensive defenseman.
Dickinson was not a good fit with the Canucks…
I expect another trade or waiver wire pickup over the next 48 hours: another defenseman….

I didn't know we got rid of Chiasson! What a shame
People always say were going to get the pick back but the canucks never do! Even when we were bad, we never received a 2nd round pick or higher apart from the Kesler deal. This team will never prioritize picks it will always be about winning now and playoff revenue. These guys are better than Benning but it's clear they still have the same short-term mandate from ownership and don't have the fortitude to stick to their guns and what they believe. They stated when they took over that they weren't interested in dealing picks to dump cap and now they did exactly that.
