The Sharks had 15 more shots over nash and played a lot better this game. Nash either played down to the competition or one team is better/worse than they appear. Had nash had an equal number of shots I would bet they would have scored 1 or 2 more.
The Sharks do not look like a bottom 5 team and nash does not look like a top 5 team either getting out shot like that.
We will see when they both play some more teams. KEVIN LANKINEN looked good for nash today though.

Lot of hustle and great positional play from Niederreiter today. I'd give him first star of the game if that wasn't the case already.
NHL starts for real when there is multiple games in at least 3 different time zones, with a minimum of 5 games in one night. that would be wednesday the 12.
unlucky loss for SJ. Niederreiter coming out hot. Wild should have retained him.
