I know everyone’s gonna say « He’s gotta earn his minutes, » but this is still bad for the Rangers. Everyone was penciling him in as a top 9 winger, and now our right side looks pretty bleak.
I respect Vince but I highly doubt this is the opening night lineup. Unless there’s some roster moves/waivers/cap thing I can’t see.

If Jimmy Vesey is our second-line RW on opening night, then this off-season was a failure.
Still find it crazy that Drury was so gung ho about trading Buch without making sure his coach had any faith in literally any player with some skill on this team to get consistent play at top 6 RW.
