The fact that Kadri is not a shoe in for the All Star team is showcasing the NHL's racist culture to it's finest. Should not be a discussion, he is currently the best player (forward) in the league… and not by a little if you examine the real numbers… he's dusting your elites like McDavid, Draisaitl and Ovechkin.
I feel like the 3rd goal for the Avs wasn't a goal because in the footage Toews like twisted his foot and then slightly kicked and it was a goal. They said that it was a goal and he didn't kick it but he knew what he was doing and like turned his foot so it go in and kicked it. Still Congrats Avs!!
I won't be too hard on them as I was honestly expecting the Avs to have a let down game eventually. Happens to every team that gets on the kind of streak they have and they still got the win anyway.
That being said, the defense has to get going faster. It's great that they're clamping down by the time the 3rd period starts but they're going to need to speed it up by the time the playoffs come.
You gotta match the intensity of the Avs when they start buzzing, or you lose. Golden Knights did it in the playoffs last year. They don't react well to intense resistance.
Best offensive team ever but the goaltending, PK, and defense have all taken a step back from previous years. Starting to get worried that it might not be enough for a cup run
Imagine if we had a goaltender who didn’t allow beach balls through the net making your team constantly fighting from a deficit. The wins are great but we can’t be doing this every game. Go Av’s.
