On days like this with all these waivers going on, I kind of miss when the NHL used to have the Waiver Draft a long time ago.
The EA pick of Pittsburgh is a smokescreen. They're due to get a ridiculous win in the lottery draft so they can get Bedard. So they'll just miss, and then win the lottery. It's all so clear. Pittsburgh is just a few years from having to move again unless they get another superstar. Philly already bought them a building, so they can't use that excuse this time.

Seeing Kaut waived after all this time is hard. He never got bigger, which is what Billington told him he needed to do so he could play regularly up in the NHL. He definitely is skilled, but not top two line player which makes his place on the Avs questionable.

EA Sports NHL Hockey. I'm a freak still playing the 2016 edition. In the Be a Pro mode my player is 39 years old in season 2038-39, and he's still rated at 99 Elite. No simmed games either. Fun times.

Honestly people extremely overrate Zohorna, there's a reason two different teams have waived him in the same week. I've watched him with the Pens the past few seasons and he's 6'6 but doesn't use his size whatsoever, he tries to play a skill game and just winds up falling down a lot. I saw a Darryl Sutter quote where he was asked about Zohorna and all he said was "I thought he really struggled."

I think it’d be pretty cool if joey daccord went back to asu 😂 seriously tho he and veggie i think would be a decent tandem in terms of youth and ability to split workload (probably 55/25 if vejmelka wants to prove hes a starter)
