    To be honest I can’t wait for these young kids to progress and make it to the big team! I loved the way they played. Like Romanov, I think Salo and Ladue will be switching maybe on the 6th spot.

    I liked the Isles game against the Rangers. Much better puck movement on the PP than in years past, Barzal was shooting and Lee was back in front of the net. I think it's telling that the younger players are starting to play with confidence and show their stuff. Romanov's hits are going to keep Martin and Johnston busy because of retaliation. Speaking of Martin, he doesn't seem to be himself. Maybe it's because Clutter is out, but he seems off balance and out of sync.
    Aho was good. I think he and someone else, probably Salo, make the roster and continue to compete for the 6th D spot while working with the team during practice.

    I liked Nystrom, but always felt it was a crime when the Isles retired his number and not Tonelli's. I guess it was payback for the holdout, but he went on to win another cup after the trade.
