   Woah this is odd. I have a Google pixel and this article came up as a recommended reading notification. I went to the news home page, and I was able to view this without a subscription. That being said, cliff notes:

   1. Laine & Gaudreau seem to click no matter who centers them.

   2. Larsen is hoping for the team as a whole to step up on D and limit high danger chances against.

   3. Chinakhov came in and pushed Marchenko out of the roster with his preseason. Chinakhov, so hot right now. Oddly, Porty doesn’t think ERob is a roster lock…

   4. Goalie tandem is Elvis & Tarasov until Korpi is healthy again. Probably a couple weeks until Korpi gets activated based on Tarasov’s timeline

   5. Porty expresses concern about Bemstrom (and Robinson) getting claimed on waivers.

   6. Power plays are gonna look much more dangerous with increased skill players. Voracek & Danforth on PP1 aren’t set, but they seem to be working.

   7. Olivier & Gudbranson were signed to keep the big body bullying to a minimum

   8. CBJ is going to focus on bank passes off the walls more. Says Voracek & Chinakhov talked about that play before they made it happen and how Jake has been wanting to use more bank passes his entire career. Says « I’ve been on my linemates for 10-11 years, mostly in Philly, to do that more. We used to do that here with (Rick Nash) when we played on the same line. You’re gonna see more of that.”

   9. CBJ missed the playoffs by 19 points last season, however, they missed by 36 points in 2015/2016 before making the playoffs in 2016/2017. Turn-arounds happen.

   10. Some other small comments. Laine feels better than ever. Blankenburg blocked an Ovi slapper trying to make final cuts. Gus says he hears the rumors, and would love to stay as long as it works. No progress on contract talks with CBJ & Gavrikov

   My only foreseen problem is back checking, these two are offensive minded and hope they can help out defense
