would’ve been surprised if someone took him, especially since he was extended for a year after this. a lot of commitment for a waiver wire pickup
that said it would’ve really sucked to lose him with the cole news
Good that he cleared, as we’d be down to 5 healthy active defenseman if he was claimed.
I must have been confused about the timing. I thought if they wanted to stay $33 under the cap before placing Cirelli and Bogo on LTIR they’d need to keep him off the opening night roster and then call him up. Glad I was wrong.
