Aperçu de la saison des Stars de Dallas 2021-22

Dallas, pour moi, est une éliminatoire marginale, et beaucoup comptent sur le fait que les vétérans restent en bonne santé cette année. 1. Well, they better show up because that team was not the Dallas Stars, they were the Texas Stars… mostly. Lol

  2. So I know a lot depends on goaltending and their stars staying healthy, but I gotta say 5th in Central is WAY too low lol. This team is stacked, their offseason was the best out of everyone's in my opinion. I think Colorado finishes ahead of them(1st in Central), but even with Kaprizov I think Minnesota lost too much on the back end to stay ahead of Dallas this year. Chicago got alot better but idk if that is also enough to beat out Dallas for position. The only team aside from the Avs that stays ahead of Dallas this year imo might be Winnipeg. Arizona will be 8th, and Nashville doesn't have the depth anymore. Neither does St. Louis. Which sucks because I like the Preds and the Blues haha

  3. Not to be mean but I laughed out loud when Shannon said the goalie roster. Such a ridiculous combination

  4. Holtby seems to keep getting contracts based on his past resume and GMs apparently valuing Stanley Cup winning goaltenders no matter how much time has passed. With a GAA over 3 and a save percentage below .900 for the past two seasons, pretty much any other goalie would've landed in the minors or gone unsigned completely. Nill had better options even if Dallas views him a third string goalie.

  5. Some good moves in the offseason for the Stars but at the end of the day their hopes really lie in Seguin's health and Benn producing more than he has the last few years although I agree I dont expect him to have another Art Ross season ever again. The Stars as a team overall on paper look really good but if they can't stay healthy it really won't matter. Plus they HAVE to open the offense up more and quit playing 1-0 , 2-1 games or lose shootouts every time

  6. I agree. They’ve got a hill to climb and a lot to prove. If they can play together and stay healthy, I think they’ve got a shot. Go Stars!

Still waiting on the Klinger vid…

  7. darn, couldn't stand that you predicted 5th.
then you gave your argument and I have no rebuttal.
I hope they overachieve this year

  8. Dallas Stars defense is so good that's why I picked them to finish 1st in the central division

  9. I don't 'blame' dallas for missing last years playoff because the makeshift division teams were just as strong as their divisional rivals. Hope they can make it this time round.

  10. Inconsistency and injuries are Dallas biggest weaknesses.
Biggest issue is that the supporting cast is outproducing and outperforming the supposed stars…

  11. The biggest problem has not been addressed at all, and that is scoring. People seem to think that their goaltending has had major issues all these years, but that's not the case at all. They have had average to good goaltenders, but that obviously just isn't enough when you're in the bottom 5 in the league in goals scored.

  12. New drinking game … every time Shannon says, "We'll see how it goes for…" "We'll see what happens…" take a shot.

  13. Rumor is Oettinger will be the starter, but Bishop, Khudobin and Holtby will dress as Dmen rotating out as the 6th Dmen. They won't play your traditional D, but instead will play as a second goalie in net with Oettinger without your typical goalie equipment.

  14. I love your videos. Whenever you say hey welcome back I always respond hey Shannon out of habit. keep up the great work

  15. Last Season (over 40GP):
    Hintz 1.04 PPG
    Pavelski 0.91
    Robertson 0.88
    Klingberg 0.68
    Benn 0.67
    Gurianov 0.55

Let's give some love for Hintz.

  16. I think the point you made at the end. It will all hinge on health. So much offense missing from last year's team really hamstrung them.

  17. Everyone seems to overlook that Stephen Johns was ALSO a significant loss to the Stars in the 2020 Cup Finals and especially so last season not to mention Séguin , Rads , Bishop , Faksa’s wrist , Roope’s groin , playing every other game , and Khudobin’s Post- Covid Syndrome .Also the Texas winter debacle which compressed an already compressed schedule more than any team in their Division !! Now every team has injuries and adversities to overcome , but the the Stars IMO hit the MOTHERLODE of adversities last season , a real Perfect Storm

  18. You should have a look at Damiani, 2018 5th round pick, so still really young, won AHL rookie of the year being a point per game.

  19. Dallas is going to blow the roof off expectations this year. Benn maybe getting older, but his seasoned leadership and supporting cast is going to take Dallas deep into the playoffs this year. Guaranteed.

  20. I think this team will be 5th in the Central missing the playoffs again, Think this team just is way too injury prone to really do something in a stronger central this year and as much as it pains me to say it cause I love their goalies, I don't trust their goaltending.

  21. mock lineup

    Benn-Hintz-Radulov
    Robertson-Seguin-Gurianov
    Kiviranta-Faska-Pavelski
    Raffl-Glendenning(prob spelled wrong)-Comeau

  22. Cogliano, Dickinson, and Dowling sucked and will not be missed. I have to think that having healthy Seguin, Radulov, and Hintz in the lineup will result in a few more regulation wins and fewer OT losses, which is what killed them last season.

  23. I'm willing to support Dallas. Even as a Sharks fan I miss Pavelski. He's so worthy of a Stanley Cup. If San Jose in my opinion doesn't pull through I wouldn't mind this Dallas Stars team winning it all with Joe Pavelski.
Setting Pavelski aside. I say this team can make the playoffs and be the one from the Central division to win it all.
