Aperçu de la saison sauvage du Minnesota 2021-22

Cela repose beaucoup sur la signature d’une prolongation par Kirill et sur la place centrale qui leur convient. 1. I just hope we see Rossi and Fiala play together at one point this season.
With both of them speaking German, that could help them have an instant connection on and off the ice.
Also Fiala has been crying out for some decent linemates who could further elevate his production. Would also take some weight of Kaprizovs shoulders

  2. Boldy & Rossi will make the team this year and this squad will surprise some people. If Rossi is elevated to #1C and plays with Kaprizov, he could challenge Caufield for ROY. Adding Boldy will instantly help the PP which desperately needs a net front guy after Parise was scratched and ultimately bought out.

  3. In next 7 years I would like to see most teams who never won a Stanley Cup win one it would great to see Buffalo Vancouver Minnesota San Jose Nashville Vegas and Seattle win a Stanley Cup

  4. Guerin is a tough guy, but Russian stars like Panarin, Bobrovsky etc. have all got paid and Kaprizov does have him on a strangle hold… MAN I would like to be a fly on the roof to hear those negotiations.

  5. I love Minnesota. I love the Wild. But I'm also a realist. Even if they do sign Kaprizov they still have some building to do. Rossi might fill a top center spot, but they've lost too much. Goligoski and Kulikov do not make up for losing Suter and Soucy. Their goaltending is the most promising thing about this team. They need scoring and defensive depth still. I, sadly, have them finishing 6th or 7th this year in the Central :/. I hope I'm wrong, lol

  6. Minnesota's centre depth should get better when they have Rossi at 1 and Eriksson Ek at 2.

  7. I can stay with the upmost certainty that Terrell will 100% sign here for the season. Right now Michael Russo floated around 5 million for $45 million. That brings them right through the end of the dead money from Suiter and Praise, and then he can get paid for a more long-term option.

People keep forgetting that the per team salary cap in the KHL is 10 million. They cannot pay Kaprizov the amount that the Minnesota wild can. It just would not make sense, and even other Russian players have come out saying that nobody really believes in the Russian factor anymore. It just doesn’t make sense on a fundamental level to abandon that much money to go and play for what is equivalent to pennies in the KHL. Kaprizov has already told teammates allegedly that he’s coming back for training camp and everything. He’s signing.

  8. 14 seasons of watching Wild hockey and this upcoming season has me excited more than ever. Love my team

  9. Soucy getting taken by Seattle really bites. It's hard to find a replacement for him, especially in terms of size. Compare his 6'5 to Addison's 5'10 and 30 pound difference

  10. 4th in the division? Behind who else besides the Avalanche and Blues? Without Kaprizov, sure. With him, they're better than the Predators (might even be better than them without him) and the Jets

  11. My only big concern is staying healthy enough and playing well enough to get a playoff spot. The great thing about the NHL is that any one of 16 teams can go on a run from there.

  12. The Wild would be fools to not sign Kaprizov. Putting a team on the ice that is a contender, and is exiting to watch should be their #1 priority. Not signing him could set the team back years. Without Kaprizov they would be a team of plodders and journeymen for the most part. How long must the fan base endure mediocrity?

  13. The only way that Sutter and Parise buy outs make any sense is if Minnesota takes some bad contracts with one year left in for this season and gets picks or prospects with those bad contarcts

  14. I am really enjoying the 2021-22 season previews so far Shannon. I am waiting with baited breath when you get to my Vancouver Canucks. What can I say I am a glutton for punishment!

  15. Cam Talbot is one of the most underrated goalies in the entire league. Kaahkonen is a very good 1B to keep him rested too so I think the goaltending will make up for the defense not being the best. I want this team to do well but I think they will be fighting for a wilcard and end up not making it to the 2nd round but would be happy if they did.

  16. To start
    Kaprisov will sign period
    Rossi replaces Rask
    Boldly replaces Johansson
    Addison replaces Soucy
    Kosky replaces suter
Nico Sturm will be the break out
    Player this year
Gaudreau was a good pick up
Were a much Better team this year
    Rossi will win the Calder
I'm picking the wild to finish 2nd
And play Colorado for Western division
    Championship

  17. Obviously I am a Wild fan, but I am not worried about the Kirill Situation. He'll be back.

  18. want to see hicketts get some more nhl time, former captain from my victoria royals

  19. I looked at Minnesota depth charts on Eliteprospects to try and make up some forward lines. But it got so depressing, I just kinda quit halfway. Much like their depth charts did.

  20. Kaprizov will sign, but I don't think he'll be here long term. They've been easing into it as their old core aged, but now with those buyouts, especially in 2023-2025, they're locked into at least a retool, even if they don't sell the farm and commit seriously to a rebuild. I don't see Kaprizov and Fiala taking any kind of discount on a couple UFA years to wait for Rossi, Boldy, and our next few draft picks to get to their primes so the team can try to make a run. I think those two get sent out for futures within the next three years.

As for this year, they're in limbo. Maybe a first round exit, maybe they just miss the playoffs. I know I don't think they're as good as they looked against the very weak west last year.

  21. The Kaprizov hype has been blown completely out of proportion. He's the same age as McDavid, and McDavid had 5 more goals and what, 50 more points last season. Definitely a good player, but people are acting like he's the next Lemieux.

  22. After Kaprizov this team has too many average players…I think they could finish 7th in the central.

  23. Not a Wild fan but their logo is pretty sweet. That giant magnetic is pretty sweet as well.

  24. Boldy is one of my favorite prospects i really think he could be in the calder race with the right souronding

  25. I just want the Minnesota sports curse to end, and I feel like right now the Wild are most likely to break the curse as the Vikings probably aren't going to be good and the Twins and Timberwolves will suck like usual

  26. I have this team at 3rd in the central with Kaprizov, just cause they didn't really improve much in the off-season, yet they didn't downgrade either, and the west is just not that strong this year.

  27. Minny at 20-1 for the cups is nuts. They are wafer thin at centre, and ordinary at best at goalie. That ain't a playoff winning formula in anything resembling the real world!

  28. With Minnesota I say this team could be their first breakthrough in nearly 20 years. Honestly, they can do it they just have to get by Colorado to make a deep run out of it. They were so close to making Vegas choke a 3-1 series. I hope they make it far and contend for the Cup. This Minnesota team has potential
