Good video, Eric. Just be yourself, emotions and all. I do think when it comes to differences of opinion, people get very confused about why others don't support their opinions when they feel they have very convincing logical hypotheses, or maybe they have some stats, etc. Sometimes our opinions are correct, sometimes not, and anybody who can't admit that they are sometimes wrong isn't worth having a discussion within my book. Let's not get into discussions with haters. Let's just enjoy the camaraderie of being hockey fans and take in the perspectives of others while avoiding being oppositional, adversarial, or insulting when we don't agree with what their perspectives.
Another great take Jaws! Being genuine and passionate is what keeps me coming back to your content. Keep it up. My take on claiming and starting Josh Mahura over Carlsson comes down to depth (or a lack of it) on defence. Both players are pretty good, have similar AHL stat line, and are about the same age. This move has some potential to payoff. My number one concern with this Florida team is that they don’t have a high enough or deep enough NHL skill level in the organization on the defensive end to match the season expectation for the team. And because they lack the draft picks to remedy the situation, the wavier wire is the best available way to try and build that depth in the short term.
