  1. hey lego im sorry for the bad english. if we trade zub for chychrun i think we should singned p.k subban for 3.25 aav for 2 years cuz he is going to give us a lot of options for our d core and the contract is for 2 years cuz in 2023-24(2 years) stutzle and debrincat need new contract so we gone have money to signed then + until 2023-24 our d prospects going to be better and some of then be a nhl playears so we subban is not going to be important. i think ridly greig ,zub and 1st round pick its could be a really good trade for both of the teams .

  2. I think we can totally forget all chycrun rumours because arizona ask is 4 1st rnd picks and wont TaKe any roster players or anyone over 21. It is just totally nut’s asking Prize and at least i believe that there is nobody that stupid GM to take that offer. I think only mcdavid would be worth that.

  3. Arz would have to take Zaitsev. Zaitsev would have to waive. Besides the asking price, this is probably one of the hold ups.

  4. I'm really hoping that the Sens aquire Chychrun without having to trade away Zub. Just imagine the Sens top 4 of: Chychrun/Chabot Zub/Sanderson

  5. the rumours I have heard is ottawa also needs to get rid of Zaitsevs contact and Arizona would take it with the trade. What I heard would be Chychrun and a 4th round pick or another prospect to Ottawa for Zaitsev, (JBD or THompson) (Greig or Boucher) Ottawas 1st round and 2nd round in 2023 draft.

  6. You know, those 'untouchables' sound good… if you were getting Chychrun for this season only, with the possibility of re-signing him to an extension. That's not the case here. Chychrun has three seasons left in Arizona. Like last season, Arizona is still in no rush to move Chychrun.

Sens fans may not want to hear it, but if you want three seasons of Chychrun, that "untouchables" list is gonna have to get whittled down a bit.

  7. My guess is they have a deal in place for him but are waiting on the 2018 hockey scandal to get figured out because of batherson and formenton being on the team.

  8. If ARI is looking for a replacement dman back of similar caliber. Vancouver has one in OEL. How about a home coming. They can swing a three way deal to send Chychrun to that third team. All we ask for AZI is to take OEL, that’s y’all folks.

  9. Nah. The rumours of what Arizona wants, this isn’t happening. Ottawa values cap space, and needs it to resign important pieces next year.

  10. Ottawa senators- Zeitsev, Brannstrom, Docker, 1st 2025 and conditional 2nd 2023, for Chychrun, then put Lassie Thompson, he already played in the NHL before, I believe he is ready

  11. Greig (or Boucher), Thompson, Zaitsev, 1st (top 10 protected), and a 2nd is what i'd be willing to trade

  12. The sens are looking to solidify the d. Zub will not be part of the deal imo. I think it will be heavy on picks and forward prospects. Maybe l.thomsson if a d man other than zaitsev has to be involved

  13. A 1st , 2nd , a roster player and 2 prospects ? No ! Do i want him ? Hell yes but that's too much

  14. Trading Zub would be a terrible idea. I consider him a very strong shutdown D, which is something we don't really have in our team. In addtion to our top 6 + chabot I would try to avoid trading Pinto and Zub. I would be more willing to trade Brannstrom and a first round pick, plus future considerations for Chychrun. Anything above that trade value would set the team back in its depth chart and may not be wise right now (this can possibly wait another year). Given there is still room for growth and development of our young starts on defense, my primary concern is that getting someone like Chychrun right now may impact our teams ability to resign Stuzle and Debrincat. That's not a trade off I would be happy with.

  15. It would be a huge mistake to go after Jacob Chychrun… Ottawa just needs a shut down RD not a left shot guy that we can’t afford. It would be foolish to waste assets prospect some pics to pay the outrageous price Arizona once especially before seeing the impact Jake Sanderson will have

  16. Zub, Pinto, Greig are most definitely Untouchables. Not one of these guys are worth trading for Chychrun. Dorian is not a silly man, all he needs is a shut down right defenseman, Ottawa has plenty waiting in the wings knocking on the door already. Trading Zub a real RD would be pointless, Pinto never ever.

  17. I think pinto is untouchable now. Lot of sens fans and management said they consider him untouchable. His potential is too good rn. Even though he slots in a the 3c of the future but he does more then a average 3c

  18. The rumoured ask from Arizona:
    – Ottawa’s 2023 1st round pick (unprotected)
    – Sokolov OR Greig
    – Thomson OR Bernard-Docker
    – A future 2nd round pick

So you can see why the trade hasn’t happened yet. That’s a big ask. Also; that 2nd rounder is because Ottawa wants to unload Zaitsev in this trade. If Zaitsev isn’t included, then remove the 2nd round pick. If you can top 10 or at least top 5 protect the first round pick, I’d be ok with moving anyone on that list NOT named Ridly Greig. This would be the worst year ever to just miss the playoffs, win the lottery, and hand Connor Bedard over to the Arizona Coyotes.
