I’m ok with adding specialty jerseys I just don’t want the NHL to turn into the NBA where each team has 10 jerseys and you can’t tell who’s who anymore. Your original colors don’t even matter anymore in basketball. You could have the colors blue and white and end up with a red jersey.

Anaheim & L.A. do this as well but witht the Ducks and Angels logo merged; all Hockey Teams should this specialty jersey with the baseball teams that they have in the same city or near to the NHL city such as the Blue Jackets with the Cincinnati Reds or the Cleveland Guardians, Sharks with the Oakland A's

The Cardinals and Blues both have jerseys similar to that but for giveaways. The Cardinals have given away Blues baseball jersey as promos at games when hockey season is starting and The Blues do Cardinals hockey jerseys when baseball season is coming up. I have 2 Cardinals hockey jersey.

I'm a big fan of the Stars and the Texas Rangers so I thought this was pretty cool, so much so that I went down and sat next to the glass for warmups so I can get some pictures. But then the Stars got manhandled by the Canadiens of all teams, and that brought back terrible memories of the Rangers getting steamrolled to their first 100-loss season since 1973, so I soured on these jerseys. My loss I guess.
I don't get this jersey. Why would any sports team want to issue a jersey based on the design used by another sports team? It makes no sense. Who would benefit the most – the Stars or the Rangers?
It's exactly like the "half and half" scarves that are popping up outside football (soccer) grounds here in the UK. I feel like walking up to the vendor, ripping the scarf off his hands and tearing it up in his face and telling him, in no uncertain terms, to MAKE HIS BLOODY MIND UP.
And another thing – the NHL has a deal with (stupidly enough) Adidas, while MLB's deal is with Nike. Not only is whoever came up with this giving free publicity to another sports team, they are also inherently giving free publicity to another league, which has a deal with a direct competitor. As if they need the extra exposure.
