I guess the main argument for Auston-Willy/John-Mitch is that there are times Tavares could use the boost of Mitch setting him up, just to get him going and you figure Matthews is going to score regardless of who he's with, so both lines would be scoring threats, neither would be weak offensively but neither would have the offensive might of Matthews Marner. I personally just think they should try it sometimes just to throw the opposition for a loop
