Watching the postgame. I would kill to have Hank’s hair for one day

  2. Jokercard08

Didn’t catch tonight, Love putting up a touchdown. How about the three goals against though? What were we seeing that needed improvement? Or just good plays from Minny?

  3. Slugggo

it wasn’t perfect, but hoo boy, have I enjoyed these first two games.

  4. Nickistheman22

Good fucking game! Beers on me tonight boys 🥰

  5. Shwinky

Yeah sex is cool, but have you ever tried watching the Rangers beat the fucking brakes off another team?

  6. skypesweater

Multiple Kreider goals on the road to 50 again, Fil looking strong af and getting a greasy one in the crease, Fox flying in for a goal, K’Andre absolutely styling on people, Reaves demolishing someone standing up for Key, first Trochek goal, Kakko absolute highlight reel Jagr-esque « MY puck » goal I mean if Shesty had scored I literally can’t think of any way a game could be more fun unless we put that filthy Mika shorty from the other night in there.

  7. crabapplesteam

Does anyone have a screen grab of Reavo pointing to his muscles? Please?

  8. lionson76

Even though they were on different lines, the Kid Line all got about 16 minutes tonight, with about 3 minutes of that on the power play. Mika, Kreids, and Vinnie ended up with 18+ only because of all the penalty kills. Love that balance!

  9. RainandPixels

How did you guys like how Hunt played? I thought he had a ton of heart and effort.

On track for 410 regular season goals and I’m here for it.

  12. NotFoley

A bit sloppy on defense at times, but you can’t really complain about that one much.

Also, Panarin heard everyone last year, he back.

  13. badusername672

I don’t know about you guys but I’m loving this team. The way they play a full game is giving me life. LETS GO RANGERS

  14. TheGoldenRail87

Two pretty dominant wins. Kreids, Mika, Kakko, Panarin all on the stat sheet to start the year. Couldn’t ask for much more.

  15. jhealey0909

    ~~Escobar~~ Panarin season has returned

  16. mediclissy296

Had to leave halfway through the second to go do fire/medic shit but holy fuck what a game. I love this team so much.

  17. ccasazza

Rangers had as many points tonight as the Chicago Bears currently

  18. Key-Tip-7521

Truly Excellent. Looked like shit at one point during the 2nd period until Chytil scored. A little back and forth during the 3rd. Regardless another great performance. Little sloppy on the third goal (I believe) but I think that can be fixed. Reavo fight. total performance again.
Bread, Trocheck, Laf, Fox, Kreids, Chytil, and most importantly, Kakko scored. Ahem « Wow it’s a nice goal. » Another 2 pts! Halak should start imo. On to the next one. LGR

Before i forget, choose one. or both idc haha

Only downside to this game is that I won’t be making as much money betting Rangers moneyline going forward

  20. BarmyDevonian

Don’t think the scoreline was an accurate reflection of the game…the Wild played a strong game and Shesty was magnificent.

    Quick Thoughts:
    – Trocheck can retrieve the puck for Panarin better than Strome could. Think it will take time for them to mesh, but super promising signs tonight. Panarin was unreal.

    – Miller is scary dominant. Foligno hurt him and it just made him even more scary. Staggering how he’s blossomed since midseason last year.

    – Chytil scores a goal in front of the net. Kakko scores a goal by driving to the net. Laf used his vision to setup 2 beauties. Kids are picking up where they left off last postseason and filling the roles the org desperately needs them to fill this year. Super exciting.

    – Love GG not fighting the Jones and Schneider against Kaprizov matchup. Not sure all those advanced metrics will be great, but the kids did a great job. Schneider in particular really seemed to relish the matchup and was up to the challenge.

So many other solid contributions but the above stood out. Long season, but early results suggests the kids are ready to take a step up and the offseason acquisitions are fitting in nicely.

When I look back on these first two games and look for something to complain about, I find…absolutely nothing. Two fantastic performances against two great teams. This season looks like an amazing ride. Let’s keep it up.

  22. notyetacadaver73

Let’s Fucken go. What a great team win !!!!!!!

  23. ItsHeadbangerG

WE’RE GOING TO THE CUP BABY!!!

    I kid.

In all seriousness I’m loving how this team is looking these first two games. Defense may have farted out a little bit there in the 3rd, but beyond that I have absolutely no complaints. Awesome way to start to the season.

    See you guys tomorrow.

  24. greysfordays

pssssssssssst guess what?? I think I love this team just as hard as I did last year??? but it’s only been two games????

  25. RainandPixels

Is Hank not going to be on the msg post games anymore?

  26. deniavdija8

Having some computer troubles will get the CDPOTG up soon

  27. overgrownpizzabox

as of RIGHT NOW, your new york rangers are the only 2-0 team in hockey

  28. Longjumping-Fact2923

Watching Turk post game…is anyone else annoyed about how people talk about the Rangers relying on Igor early? Like…just because your best player is your goalie doesn’t mean you’re a bad team. No one thinks Colorado is bad because some games they rely on Cale Makar to take over games sometimes. No one suggests that Edmonton shouldn’t be relying on McDavid…but whenever the Rangers play as if their goalie is the best in the world everyone’s like “see…look how bad they are.” It would honestly be weird/bad if your goalie was as good as Igor and you DIDN’T take a few extra chances and hang him out once in a while. Thats the luxury of having him back there, you can take risks.

  29. Pork-Roll

This was fuckin nasteeeeee good work guys. Minnesota is a good team. We definitely gave em room. But we handled it. I just want to make sure Igor doesn’t have to get jostled around all the time.
