Wasn’t the prettiest win but I can think of many times last season when our defense was cheeks. We gave up one PP goal on the road on opening day, that’s pretty damn good

Wasn’t flashy but a really solid grind it out win. I thought we played a lot more physical than what we saw last season. The power play still needs work but I like that we took some chances. Not as much cute passing the puck around until we get a perfect look. Tkachuk is a hell of a player. I knew he was good but man he was everywhere, and his puck handling is insane. Also his physicality is going to be huge for us come playoff time. Our biggest weakness is clearly our defensive depth. Bob really saved our asses in this one and I hope that doesn’t become a theme this year. Overall though a very good start to the season. I’m excited!

Honestly- Tkachuck is one of my favorite panthers as of right now, listening to the post-game show. i agree with Jess and Jovo, He and his playstyle and personality are so fun to watch.
Im one of few who belives bob is worth every penny. he played incredibly!
Another cat who really surprise me, idk why, but was reinhart. dude has stepped up loads since he joined.
