That was a pretty impressive win. Man Kadri is good and that second line looked amazing. Top line still looks like they need some time to gel. They desperately need a better wing than Lewis on that third line. Fourth line looked good in the first and then looked pretty bad the rest of the game. Defense was pretty solid and Markstrom was good when he needed to be.
I blame the season opener loss on Johnny Gaudreau. Too many nose beers every summer he was slow to start. This team’s gotten much better and professional with his departure.

A good team game by the Flames. There are still a few communication issues out there, but time will fix that.
Colorado remains scary good. They had jump in the 3rd period which is rare on the second game of two nights in a row.
About 5 years ago we ended the Honda Center curse, today we ended the Game 1 curse, I wonder what will happen in October 2027?

CBJ lost their first game 4-1 and mr whatshisname had zero points. Matthew had an EN goal for Florida, meanwhile weegar with 2 assists, huberdeau with an assist, and kadri with an assist puts our offseason swaps at 4 points to 1.
Calling it now we won that offseason.
