Samuelsson is not a scorer per say, he is a stud on the back end and matches well with Dhalin. This was a awesome move.
We, the Buffalo fans, want to believe that we had crap management (four years ago) when all those stupid decisions were made and the team chemistry was the worst in the league. Kevin Adams appears to be the real deal and so good at talking the talk and fostering calm and belief in apparent young player abilities. But time will tell if this all translates into a competitive core in the future. For now, we will just fall back on the fact that this is the youngest core in the NHL and has a lot of upside in the years to come.

Sabres will be on the hook for some sizable contacts in about 2 to 4 years, ALL of these studs will eventually have to get paid, if they can sign some now at today's prices might payoff for them later on!
If you check the stats last year, he and Dahlin were the only positive d pair they had with Dahlin. I think the signing is good mainly to help Dahlin's game and cement a top pair long term. He could very well become a Slavin-esque type player whose main job is help the offensive d-man do his thing without leaving defensive holes.
When you judge a DEFENSIVE D-man by how many goals he's scored…….smh 🤣🤣 Oh that's right, they're Leafs fans……..no wonder. 👍👍
