I've said this many times, but here it is again. Matt Murray and Ilya Samsonov are NOT good enough to bring the Leafs to Promise Land. Neither goalie has a future in the NHL beyond 2025.

Keefe doesn't hold his players accountable, he never has. There were a couple of top quality coaches who do hold players accountable with a proven record of winning that were available this summer. Dubas could have hired any one of them. Instead Dubas chose to go with the guy who was out coached every single year in the playoffs. How much more of Matthew's prime are the Leafs going to piss away.

I didn’t like anything from last night! They were slow and sloppy,Matthews invisible,Murray was beat what 3 times top shelf? I know it’s the first game but damn we lose to the shitty teams every time!😡😡😡😡

They did play with "Honour, Pride and Courage" …. Habs I mean. They were emotional and played with intensity.
Leafs need 2 more defenceman if the can get rid of Muzz and Holl – which is extremely doubtful unless they throw in a first and prospects like Knies. Scary part is Muzz has another $5.625M on his contract for next year as well – he looks like he is done. Completely.
It's a typical Leafs Habs game, 4-3 is a typical score. Will be the same thing with Ottawa Saturday, 3-2, 4-3, 5-4, one of those final scores.
C.J. laps up the Dubas Kool-Aid like no one else – I can't even stand watching this guy. He even had the gall to say that they should keep Dubas even if they lose first round again this year (and the year after) as they obviously "have the right guy for the job". Incredible – he got lucky drafting Matthews through a lucky PowerBall drop otherwise Leafs are another middle of the pack team.
Why is it that things are always the same with the Leafs….. Like Lucy and Charlie Brown. She keeps pulling the football. As a Habs fan I actually saw the Leafs winning that game 5-2 yesterday. But instead the Leafs play completely uninspired hockey.
I frankly could care less how many Goals Auston scores or the size of Taveares and Marners Contract…. Your big 4 looked dis interested yesterday.

im a Habs and its feel so good to have a new sheriif in town not that i was tire of PRICE but for the last 15 years he was the face of the HABS now we have a Caufield a scorer at last since Richer no 44 and Lafleur its been ages to have a superstar foward in the making here in Montreal, for the game it was a surprise win for me over the Leafs but i think that its gonna happen for a lot of good team to take the Habs as a easy win.Love yours comment on the game i just susbcribe to your channel so you have a new Habs fans on your channel GO HABS GO.

Might want to change your comments about Campbell he was the reason the oilers weren’t down 6 or 7 -1 stopped 33 of 36 shots and was third star. Not to mention breakaway saves and post to post saves and 8 penalty kills holland said it best Jack campbell was the reason we had a chance to win the game and woody and McDavid praising him as well. You boys got a little ahead of yourselves there . He let in one kind of questionable goal and it too was a perfect snipe so it’s even hard to blame him on that one. Unlike murray he was lights out after being hung to dry and gave his team a real chance of getting back in it and thats when the McDavid , Draisaitl show started and the three stars were

Matt needs big time work on his glove hand upper net shots and he is also weak coming post to post as it showed on Caufield’s first goal. As a habs fan now living in Toronto, I did not expect the Leafs fans reaction to last nights loss….we all know the Leafs will most likely have a great season and the Habs won't, but of course it's hockey and anything can happen. I enjoyed the play of a lot of habs last night, but what was really sweet, was the very good overall perfoirmance of Sean Monahan (1 goal and 9/15 face-offs wins), that Calgary sent to the habs along with a conditional 2025 first round pick .
And then campbell shuts the door and has a average night .915 goaltending night … pride comes before the fall
