I feel like we can stop talking about Chychrun now. These are completely unsubstantiated rumours, and also, the price is WAY too high. It's not happening.
The giveaways just irk me 😣 Calgary unfortunately was the better team☹️ It was nice to see someone score other than the usual duo👍🏽 I’m not panicking, it’s only 2 games. Our defence has to be better .and be a scoring threat every game. Especially on the pp😑. 5v5 scoring has definitely have to improve. Go Oilers🥰 let’s finish this home stand 5-1👍🏽
I don't know how you fix the slow starts this is something the Oilers have dealt with for YEARS. We have had multiple coaches yet we always come out the gate slow. My best guess is discipline is the biggest issue when it comes to the slow starts.

When you don't start until the 2nd period and you leave your goalie as a designated sacrifice things don't tend to go great. I really don't want Chychrun (btw you spelled it wrong in the title Tyson). There are others that are better choices for more economical money. Getting Niemelainen in the lineup makes sense. I would not be pointing at the defense. I would say the entire team cannot seem to understand the game starts in the 1st period not in the 2nd.
They need to start the game with a great first shift, then bundle on that. Defense had a rough go last couple 1st periods. I think, tough hard checking to set the tone would make it happen. Start Hyman, Drai, Kane with Neimo and Kulak
The team seams rusty. Even passes from Connor are a little off as dri can’t one time he has to control first before shot. And all players seem out of position and a lot giveaways even from players who normally don’t make those mistakes.
