  1. Holl created 2 of the three chances in that game. I'm tired of the Holl witch hunt where everyone is looking for a mistake to attack him for and vehemently refuses to credit him for his work. That's not to tell you what to do, you do you and do the podcast the way you see fit. It's just not for me. I'm a Leaf fan and I want my team to do well. I'm not going to try and high school bully a member of the team I love just because it's the in thing to do.

  2. Holl is a plus 44 in 208 NHL games, not padding those numbers playing with M&M. +/– is a significant stat for D because goals happen on the rush or on the cycle when the D is in the thick of the play. Holl also logged the most PK time last season. The Leafs' PK was 7th in the NHL last season. How is that not "consistent"? You're on about giving up big goals, take a look at the game 7 goals vs Tampa, Brodie turnstiled by Nick Paul…Rielly giving up an ocean of gap on Paul's first goal…then not picking him up back door after giving him the blueline. Re zone entries…Holl has good gap control because he reads the play exceptionally well, often breaking up the rush in the neutral zone…Also, the Stamkos goal..go look at it again. What was Holl supposed to do on that play?!! He had a forechecker right on him, his winger blew the zone way too early…his play was a hard rim up the boards! What was the winger doing outside the blueline?!!! Go look again…man, people don't know what they're looking at half the time they watch hockey!
