Feel like the Avs play style lends itself to meh season starts. You can see the flashes of playoff dominance in the barely missed passes, puck rolls on stick, like the players are used to everyone being slightly more on time, in these first few games (and it happened at the start of last season too). And then when they finally get used to their usual pace things look like the end of season Avs we’re used to.
