We only allowed 6 goals this time. We’re improving!

  2. artistic23

20* goals in 3 games is horrendous.

  3. spudenjoyer

This team was broken as soon as Dean Evason got absolutely abused by Berubes’ tactics in the blues series. Got our adjusted nearly every single time. And with the talent we had, it’s unacceptable.

This outscore your problems style only can get you so far. People are gonna be so ignorant of how this style isn’t conducive to winning trophies but whatever let’s just accept being in the middle. Addison/Kappy/Boldy deserve a lot more success.

  4. FirewallThrottle

Boldy still looking like our best player out there. The things I’d do for a competent goalie.

Is it possible to win the cup with zero wins?

  5. bipolarbear3219

Such a frustrating game. Feels like they played well enough to win but they can’t bury the Grade A chances and goaltending is failing them. A lot like past Wild teams

  6. expungant

Wild 0-3 with 20 goals scored against since they introduced TRIA patches

  7. Kflow1379

Holy fucking shit this team sucks bad. I’m here for the all-time season goals allowed record though.

  8. SoSneaky91

My overreaction. Fire fucking everyone. 20 goals in 3 games is so fucking embarrassing it’s unreal.

  9. xEphr0m

Let’s be honest. We knew this year would be bad. Playing gimped after those shitty old contracts.

I suggest we at least have fun with it. If it weren’t for the Avs being so terrible we’d have a 7 GAA 3 games in. Unfortunately we played one of the other bottom teams today.

  10. jonn_jonzz

This is all still Tria’s fault somehow.

  11. magniturd

Losing sucks, but we saw a different team tonight than the first two games. Surely things will get better.

  12. letoiledunordstars

huh maybe scratching rossi for no reason wasn’t the magical solution. surprise

  13. Natearl13

Watch us finally get Wallstedt up after 2 years of playing lights out in Iowa and then Dean pulls him after the first goal he lets in

  14. DaRealHankHill

I guess they have statistical evidence that Rossi is worth 1 goal against now. I’m honestly curious to see where things go from here. They say he made the team, give him no real chance, and then scratch.

  15. Radagastdl

Addison has looked good so far! Power play seems to have taken a step from last season

  16. guiltycitizen

Jesus tap dancing Christ this is fucking brutal.

Wild: get your shit together, dawg!

  17. Malcom_Ecstacy

I think I’m gonna shoot some heroin into my Dick hole

  18. Well guys and gals another L.

A lot of positives to take out of this one. PP looked great again, 4th line was solid, d-zone coverage was better overall. Got some building blocks at least.

Another bad goal (or 2) let in tonight. Stop the knuckle puck and it’s a different game. Freddy buries that and it’s a new game.

See everyone, minus the “fuck this season” folks on Thursday!

  19. Apanic_Attacka

What’s the record for the most goals given up three games into a season? Asking for a friend

  20. finest_bear

i think we need a few more former penguins players and then we’ll be alright

  21. _nordstar_

So who has a beer league tendy to spare?

  22. OsironESP

Whelp, We’ve given up 6.66 goals per game so far…Happy Halloween!

  23. collinrj17

I’m nervous about our goaltending situation. With that said. Let’s all just take a breath.

  24. Kurt4413

Kaprizov is at least stacking points

  25. MNGopherfan

I am happy with them tonight they showed resilience and actually were in the game the whole time. Some really bad bounces screwed us but for the most part, Gus was playing fairly well I think some more ice time and he can hold keep things together.

  26. Thriftynuggets

Honestly a good game. First goal was a fluke. Third goal was flukey too, but definitely on Gus. I don’t think it’s tank time yet, but let’s wait and see how many games it takes to let in less than 5.

  27. redninerniner

Exciting game. I do love watching the offense work. Boldy looking like a stud.

Imagine how good we could be if we start to get some saves!

  28. joshj5hawk

Should have scratched Hartman instead. THEN fucking BENCHED his ass after that stupid fucking penalty from the bench. But I’m sure we’ll hear all about « Accountability » for « all » players

  29. Piffles

Odd game overall. Two goals against that were borderline high sticks, plus a weird bouncer.

    Then the goofy penalties.

All in it wasn’t that bad, but obviously wish we won. I don’t like the moral victories.

  30. fexuntv

Tank for Connor bedard fire evason get rid of fleury Pull up wallstedt . Overreaction yes but I wouldn’t be mad about it I’ll say it again

  31. taekwondogatorade

does this mean seats and beer will be cheaper?

  32. saucysocks3

Sucking while getting to watch Kaprizov and Boldy still beats sucking while watching the likes Justin Fontaine struggle to get 3 goals in a game

  33. noticeablywhite21

Gus was at least better than fleury. Obviously a couple of flukey goals, but he at least looked in control of his movements and was decently tracking the puck. Feels like he will play better with more time and get into a rhythm. Fleury is just cooked though, dudes body isn’t his own anymore.

  34. DontPlayJustPray

Bill Geurin… Why did you switch Talbot for Fleury? Why did you buy out Parise and Suter? As if Suter wouldn’t have been fine to finish out his contract? It’s better than paying 7mil for nothing at all. Bill… Please… The plan is to eventually be good but we could’ve been good now. What if it doesn’t work? All this pain and for what? You bought out 2 contacts that carry the same cap hit that they would’ve carried if you just let them play it out. Our team is broke, our core is shattered.

  35. Kegheimer

Who would have guessed that we would be 0-3 with 12 goals for.

  36. cothomps

FWIW: Russo on the Athletic “Whine Line” is distraught about Rossi.

    – Scratching him was a “bunch of shit”
    – Rossi wasn’t told this morning _why_ he was scratched; coaching staff “needs to have the balls” to talk to the kid.
