I got to go to one game in Buffalo. It was the first year of the new arena, I think it was called Marine Midland Arena then and Buffalo was playing the Rangers, unfortunately Messier was injured and did not play in that game but Gretzky played and it was awesome to see him play. At that time the white jerseys were still the home jerseys. I also got an inaugural arena puck. Was a really nice arena, I would go back.

last year i was in buffalo and i went on stub hub game day against the leafs and at 5 pm i picked up tickets last second before they close sale and i got them for $15!!! never buy tickets to the last second!!!! you will save tonnnes of money!!!
Last time the maple leafs came to Pittsburgh I sat by a guy from Toronto who said it’s easier to come down to the US than it is to buy leafs tickets back home

My old hometown, use to go to games when they played at the old War Memorial….although i haven't been back there in 25 years…the Buffalo area, Sabres still hold a special place in my heart.
