The Bruins, my longtime team, seem to own matinee games, and they clinched a playoff birth! The broadcasters on the NHL channel were phenomenal, too. They did not overburden the viewer with language and complemented each other so well; the NHL needs more of that.

A few years ago when streaming hockey games became the main way I watch (instead of TV), I started watching the opposing team's broadcast now and then. It's a great way to learn more about the other teams and also get a perspective on what the rest of the league was saying about my favorite team. Nowadays, I almost exclusively watch the opposite broadcast, and you get to hear a lot of different opinions from the different announcers. Every regional broadcast has at least a little bit of bias toward the home team, as to be expected, but the majority are really good and a few of them I really love. Props to the Rangers, Red Wings, Blues, Wild, Sabres and many others who have great announcers.
But if you watch the Bruins play and you only ever watch Jack Edwards and the home broadcast, you'll definitely end up knowing less about hockey than someone who has never watched a game. It may even cause physical brain degeneration, I'm not 100% sure on the health risks. Just thought I'd share. Seems like it should be public information.

Penguins will be the weakest playoff team of all as they are very inconsistent and both of their goalies suck, they will exit from the playoffs very early.
the bruins are the weirdest team of all time, they will have games like this against good teams that they should win by 10 goals, but then a few games ago they lost were they looked like seattle for 2/3 of the game
