TY scheduling… I think it's a totally great idea to play back to back nights with travel… Apart from that B's fought hard team defense broke down a lot and left Sway in a lot of awkward spots but there's 82 games not going to win them all good lesson to learn especially with a new scheme under Jim.
This game is a good illustration of something I have noticed around the league. The overall talent level of the NHL just keeps going up, and this year it just hits me in the face. The skill development is quite noticeable. So many players have truly great accurate shots, tremendous hands, and playmaking skills. The amount of goals being scored early on is wild considering how high the quality of goaltending is.
We suddenly appear to the be light years ahead of the dump,and chase hockey of yesteryear. It’s a great time for hockey fans who appreciate the talent on display.
I literally don't think I've ever seen the bruins play THAT bad defense before. Like holy hell, it really was a sight to behold. Got the Sens over here thinking they're actually good lol
Bruins looked exhausted from the back to back with travel to a different Country in between, plus they're short 4 major players including the best goal scorer in Marchand but most importantly two of their best Defenseman in Carlo and McCovoy along with Grizz, there shouldn't be too many games giving up 7 and a positive is fact they're scoring 5 goals a game without those key pieces

As a hockey fan, I'm glad the Senator fans got a good opening night. Yet, it was a hyped up opening night win, not a hockey game.
Put Smith back in – he doesn't often show up in the stats, but he does something. Brings out the best of his linemates
