1. I don't watch board ads, YT ads, TV ads or anything else featuring 'products'. They may PLAY but I pay no mind at all and they don't even register.

  2. I think if the players start complaining then the NHL should be forced to take the board ads out.

  3. Brian your making this show hard to watch with all the ad talk and it's going to get worse

  4. I watched hockey a little bit in the middle of the 2010s and then I’ve recently got back into it the last two years and I never noticed the digital ads until someone brought it up. It was probably a sudden change for those continuously watching hockey, but I think it will be something people will eventually ignore them and forget about them.

  5. Puck tail was earlier than 2004. I want to say it was actually one of the first 2 cup years or maybe the year after. Definitely before the year 2000

  6. I've been watching hockey for over 30 years, so the digital ads bother me from a purest standpoint.
But if I'm being honest, they dont bother me, because I dont even notice them. I'm focused on the game.
In the modern digital age, ads are in our faces non stop anyways, just gotta ignore it.

  7. I don’t mind the ads that much but I for the life of me do not even understand the point of the ads because I don’t pay hardly any attention to them. I have never bought anything or used anyones services based off a add in any sport. I think it’s a total waste of advertising money. Actually I’m more likely avoid any company that advertises and includes the words diversity, inclusivity, or any of that other woke crap.

  8. Surprised the companies with physical ads already on the boards aren’t complaining to the NHL as they are no longer getting their moneys worth… Virtual ads stinks so bad!!

  9. Digital aids are destroying the game. Worse viewing experience p. it’s unbelievable how the league can be doing this to this sport.

  10. I listen to Ken Kal on the radio. Jersey ads and digital ads are overkill. It’s information overload since all fo us filter out info all the time during the day ads in our favorite sport can ruin the viewing experience. I’m with Brian on this.

  11. I can't tell if it is a rendering issue of ESPN streaming Bally, but the frames per second of the game has gotten nauseating. I don't know if it is because of the digital ad technology or what, but there is a marked difference from last season

  12. What is going on with Vrana? Personal reasons? He is currently not shown on the Red Wing roster official website.

  13. The ads on the boards are absolutely terrible. If they're not glitching out completely, they're *animated*. It's incredibly distracting. I don't wanna see some minivan driving around the boards, I want to watch the bloody game.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If the ads aren't animated, and if the ads change during stoppages in play, this wouldn't be a problem. But they're not. They clearly didn't set any rules or guidelines for this crap, and it's clear they didn't think their cunning plan the whole way through.

  14. Keep it up boys, this show is a must watch every day for me. This channel needs way more attention and subs!

  15. I agree, have have to have 5 or 6 networks just to watch all the games😡🤬. So to watch hockey I have to pay $500 wtf . Sick of everything and everyone nickel and dimming us for ever last cent we have. NHL needs to get there crap together. I will just find some other sport to watch
