I used to play at the Aud and the ice there is absolute shit.
All jokes aside, I don’t think he’ll need to be there all season if he stays positive and plays to the best of his ability.

Well it must be demotivating for him. I hope it will give him something, because here in Slovakia he was quite a star of team in top league. Even if he didnt have top ice time, he was respected player and member of national team.
Mentality here in Slovakia is that if you go overseas and you are not playing in nhl, its not really worth it. Playing even in ahl is not considered a sucess at all, but understandable for young players.
I just can feel for him and hope he stays positive and motivated.

he spent the summer in montreal going to the Grand Prix, having the teams PR team up his rear because he was hanging out with Slaf and has now shown up to Kitchener where he has been given a tour of the coolest strip malls to hang out at and ben told that Jack Burger is really good because they will put a pineapple in your burger

I like it, army themed teams that draw on real imagery are pretty cool. Reminds me of the Regina Pats.
I live here, and I for one at happy he’s here. For my own selfishness and also because I think he can do some damage here with the team (he’ll actually have a couple guys to compliment him). Don’t hate on my hometown! It’s a nice place to be and the city is growing like crazy! Tonnes of hockey history here as well.
