@ DK: same example of Petry's play catched my attention. Seems to me like he's just trying to play a simple game and needs some time to get used to a new system, before he takes off. You can see it's there. About the 4th line. Do you have an idea why they didn't choose for a new shutdown line by bringing ZAR back in?

It's been 3 frickin games! The 4th line hasn't had many shifts and I do believe they haven't been on the ice for a goal yet. You need to chill just because they had a mediocre game in Montreal.
Aside by as single nice drive to the net by Archibald, the fourth line has been all but invisible through three games. Hoping they find some chemistry soon, with and without Teddy.
4th line should have been: Blueger, Evan Rodriquez and ZAR or Tanev would have been nice.
Laugh away, but this team will struggle to make the playoffs this season. There are so many teams on the rise in the East and the Pens have such a stagnant roster. It's not so much in that they kept the big 3, but bringing back everyone else, especially Carter, Kap, Doumo, McGinn and Bleugar. You'll really notice when they play the teams on the rise this year, Ottawa, CBJ, NJ, Philly…..
Best case scenario is for the Vets to play well but for the team to fade. Maybe they can convince some of the vets to move for valuable assets.
Hard to think a 4th line of say… zahorna-poulin-doc would really be much worse. At least then there could have been surprise upside. You know exactly what your going to get from McGinn and Archibald… that doesn't make it good, just consistently meh.
