Two nice wins in a row, this one was especially sweet though. Defense looked great, Blackwood looked great, Hughes finally put one home. Felt like a breakthrough game, hopefully this keeps up.

So we played like we did the good 50 minutes of last game and look at the result. Just absolutely manhandled the islanders.

Alright the Devils maybe being good this year is back on the table.
This game reminded me of some of the Canes games from like 18-19 before they fully ascended. Dominating the neutral zone, always prepping for the next shot. Really quite encouraging. Much more so than the win against the Ducks IMO. Excellent win. I will likely be buying a ticket to see them in person for the first time this year on Saturday.

I missed the game but I just want all of the Severson haters (across the whole fan base not just this sub) to take another look at that stretch pass leading to Jack’s goal.
Two very strong games in a row, and the islanders are a bar we need to clear this season. Great response to the first two games of the season where it felt like nothing could go right.
Would like to see yegor get moving a little more in the right positions to utilize his shot. He hasn’t been very dangerous yet, but he started slowly last year as well. Need that one or two extra weapons to start finishing on some of this zone domination.
Literal best 60 minute effort of the past idk 3 years? Complete domination, incredible defense, and flawless play in the neutral zone. Idk if 11/7 is sustainable and I dont think the best place for Holtz is the press box, but besides that i cant really nitpick. Amazing game.
