  1. The sun don’t shine on the same dog’s ass all the time

  2. Theboofgoof

Got what we deserved sloppy all night

  3. eyehatecody

Be nice if they could get a .900sv% out of Markstrom once in a while. He’s been pretty bad since game 7 against Dallas.

  4. Auzzie999

Sabres too fast for us today. However Markstrom needs to find his game.

  5. GrafNebelgeist

I hate watching the Flames lose. Losing sucks ass.

Nice early season wake up call. Lets get back on the horse next game.

  6. Thepinkillusion

Games done, onto the next one! Can’t win em all, but we can still go for 81 😉

  7. tmr-013

    Tuch 1st Star ⚔️
Respect Sabres; looking forward to the next one

  8. shichibukai3000

If Big Z doesn’t take that penalty I think we win. Killed our momentum

  9. marbsarebadredux

Kadri has been far more impressive than Huberdeau, hope that changes soon

  10. TravisTouchdown_51

Honestly, not the worst time for this to happen right now. Can’t get too high after the first 3 wins, those games still had periods where we were not playing well. Getting beaten by Buffalo is a good wakeup call and reminder to stay humble.

Not our day at all. But it happens. We looked sloppy and a step behind. Won’t happen next game.

  12. UnfilteredBritta

Have to wonder if Markstrom is still feeling the effects of that illness or something else. He doesn’t look like himself. We really need hanifin and kylington back too, makes a huge difference to our back end

  13. Lord_Kromdor

I told myself I would care less this season. I’m still fucking cranky.

  14. dadbodthor19

As a Flames fan, and also a KC Chiefs fan it has been a rough 5 days. Fuck buffalo!

  15. rye_by_night

Well evidently Hanifin is the lynchpin for the entire defensive structure of the team.

  16. CaptinDerpII

    Tough game 😛

Just shows how important Hanifin is to us

  17. FlameyPoo15

Welp, time to burn it all down and sell the farm I suppose /s

  18. EATS_DOG_POO

Even though Zad dawg got a goal, he didn’t have a great game. On to the next.

  19. dadbodthor19

We were never gonna go and 0. Hope the boys bring it outta the gates on saturday I can only spend so much on dome foams.

  20. Kadri91

That 3rd period could’ve went either way, kadri missed a good opportunity on a open net, we had a lot of good scoring chances. But we had defensives break downs that costed us and let in some soft goals, not every game is going to go our way and we are going to lose, the boy just need to make those adjustments and be aware of the mistakes they make.

These games happen. Learn and move on. Still started 3 and 0 for the first time since 2009.. with a brand new core. Gonna be a good season. Give er time.

  22. SensitivePatient2012

Sloppy first half. Gotta start on time when the Canes come to town.

  23. AdamEnokson

Kadri is our best player right now. Constant hustle. I love the way he plays

  24. Hope I never see any “trade Hanifin for a winger” nonsense ever again after that.

  25. jwu3636

Why is hubby only getting 16 min a game??

  26. earlgreybobas

After watching the Sabres vs Oilers highlights I was pretty worried because they are calculated and creative in their scoring. They surrounded whoever had hold of the puck and made sure to take it back right away. Excellent puck control. They were always where they needed to be. They swatted shots away like flies. Stole passes. They made Flames look tired and old. I was actually wondering if they were hungover because there was a serious lag. Buffalo deserved to win especially with a hat trick and defence man goal streak. I usually get pretty upset with Markstrom but how do you stop slap shots aimed above your ear? Vladar tried his best but they were aiming for the outskirts of the net in all angles, but we all know tonight wasn’t because of the goalies.

We sucked for pretty much the entire game, caught a break with the 2nd goal and came out flying in the third to almost tie it up. We then proceeded to point a gun at our own foot and emptied the entire clip. Terrible penalties: check. Terrible defense: check. Sloppy puck handling and passing: check and motherfucking check. You don’t win games where you can’t get out of you own way. Gotta shake this one off and move on, *especially* Markstrom. we need his Dallas series form, not his Edmonton one…

  28. Mattybourbon

As much as it sucks to watch a loss, tonight was the first time my daughter watched with me and took an interest in the game. Now she wants to meet Kadri and get his autograph. Softens it for me a bit.

  29. SauronOMordor

Winning is a lot more fun than losing.

  30. SauronOMordor

It is good to get our one loss of the season out of the way early.

    81-1!

  31. Polymarchos

Glad I forgot to rub in the Buffalo loss to my Edmonton fan coworkers
