My favourite part was when he was telling the kid to sit next to him. He’s so friendly and inviting – aware of the feelings of others. They call that emotional intelligence. And we see him now in 2021 act that way with new guys on the team – Stützle, Norris, etc.. And that’s one of the many reasons he should be captain.
I love Brady, but when I was in Ottawa the only time he was literally a baby it was back in 2000. That was a special trip, though, as on it I found out I'm half Canadian and we went to an Island with a family name my dad had discovered. Back then everything seemed easier, but thankfully we still have some emotional players like him so hockey doesn't get boring like other sports have. Not ashamed to say hockey is the only sport I follow, but I consider it an art form of emotional creativity.
