The Blues have a ton of depth. The Avs scored 1 more goal than St. Louis but the Blues had more 20 goal scorers. The Avs are going to want to keep this series at 5 on 5. St. Louis had the 2nd best powerplay in the league this year and Colorado's pk is the definition of mediocrity floating somewhere in the middle of the pack. I think the team that has the best defense and goaltending in this series wins it because both teams have a lethal offense. I'm hopeful that my Avs can get it done but it's not going to be a sweep like last year. Hopefully Kadri keeps his head on straight this time too.
You need to look at the roster again, this isn’t remotely the same Blues team. They literally only have 1 defenseman left who was on the team in 2019.

This is going to turn into a big rivalry. Not only are they 2 playoff contending teams competing for the top spot in the division, but the Avs are owned by Stan Kroenke's company, and we all know how much St. Louis hates that name 😂
For this series imma stay Blues in 7. Part of it is bias, sure, but Colorado could easily win in 5 or 6 if they keep their heads up and stay outta the box. Then again, Colorado almost always chokes in the second round and the teams are very evenly matched so imma say St. Louis will win a very competitive series. If the Blues slay Colorado they could win the Western Conference with almost no problem, and just like that they're back in the final.

Avs are going to have to get back into it after the week long break. The Blues will be fresh, but the Avs are just rotting because they are sitting around watching hockey and prepping. Interested to see how the series go. I’m saying Avs in 6 or 7.

Hey Neil! As a diehard Blues fan, I definitely don’t think we’re the same team. We’ve added Buchnevich, Saad, Faulk, perunovich, Krug, just to name a few. Also, as a surprise for most people, the Blues have scored more goals then the Avs this season! We can score at will it seems like at times (as can Colorado). Obviously we still have that championship core of a few guys. At a skill level, this team is better then our championship team. With that said, I think Blues in 7 baby!! LGB!
