I would like to see more of the "workboot goals/effort" (ie. screens, deflections and rebounds). Also, it is one thing to get a lead, but it is a whole other thing to keep leads. I would like to see more overall heart (backchecking, blocked shots, completion of checks, traffic in front of the opposing goalie, less poor percentage passes at ill-advised times (ie. overtime), as well as a better overall commitment to team defence.
This team will never win a cup.
It's not just one or two defensemen they need. There was sloppy play from all the players.
Canucks management always seem to think they are "one player" away from contending. Hopefully this group is smarter
Ray was good at scoring goals in the National Hockey League, however…… his skills off ice are questionable. Please replace the Ray segment with Darren Dreger or Bob MacKenzie or Craig Button or Pierre LeBrun. They can explain more clearly and concisely in 10 minutes,
what it just took Ray 23 minutes to meander through.
I think a lot of JT’s natural compete ..his energy..the team as a whole lacks a cohesive energy and focus..as always there’s way too much overthinking this Canucks team..

Ray is so great. Easily my favorite regular guest on here and D/D. His takes come from experience.
Jt Miller, has ton of cash now , Miller will be on cruise control for rest of his contract , Canucks will win the draft In 2023
the oel contract is already biting there future they need to trade Boeser or Garland get a top 4 big tougher D. Draft a D in 1st round if we dont get Bedard. Defense is key just look at the Oilers imagine if both teams had a top 10 D core. I was hoping they would trade Boeser gets hurt alot and isnt the same after his back injury. we need more Speed and Grit up front.
I feel ancient. I've been listening to Ray since the early 2000s when he had his first hit on 1040, I still remember that because they made an introduction that he was their new analyst and he nailed it with the confidence he has even today. He's not really ever changed.
