Refreshing to have a fan of a team saying the other team will win it.
as an oilers fan,….lots to be excited about – of course, there is always that fear.
I would say, if they oilers do not underestimate the Kings and go hard right from the start, they win.
That said, even the tinest slip-ups can cause alot of trouble, if you are not confident champs like the lightning.

An important factor is that defence can do whatever they want in the playoffs and never ever give away a power play. That gives kings an advantage in the playoffs that they didn't have in the regular season series.
Not scoring on the pp matter cuz refs don’t call power plays in playoffs the oilers pk is just as deadly as the king pp this last month. Should be a tight series oilers in 6?
The Oilers are the favorites if they capitalize on the injures of the Kings, especially with Doughty out. The playoffs are different compared to the season. The Kings are going to send their best defensive forwards Kopitar and Danault to shut down Mcdavid and Draisaitl. Those 2 guys are going to cause problems for the oilers top 2 lines. But RNH, Hyman and Foegele are the secret weapons, plus with Kane in the top line with Mcdavid.If Smith can stay hot he will be unstoppable. Yes, he can't stay hot forever but he can stay hot as long as he wants to and how competitive he gets.
Oilers 4-1 …. Woodcroft has elevated this team…. 3rd line is so much tighter… allowed by the addition of Kane. Kane was on par for a 40 plus goal season with his metrics……1st line with Connor and Kane are going to go to town in the playoffs.
As a kings fan the oilers should easily sail through my kings. The oilers have such a dominate/skillful top6.
But if the kings win, I do expect oilers fans to be on suicide watch.
It’s an extreme mistake to look at the success a team has in the regular season and expect the same in the playoffs. Unlike any other sport, the NHL changes the rules which makes team defense and goaltending, balanced scoring and big heavy bodies more advantageous. Hackers and whackers flourish while skill diminishes. Interference is rarely called…so I expect this will be a tough series.

My prediction for this series… Smith gets injured….again. So, Kings in 7
Kane and McDavid have found chemistry. Watch him light up the Kings.
It's hard to pick the Kings to win series when you can lead the league in shot attempts and can't hit the net. Your special teams are below league averages. Sure, refs will not call penalties, but penalties will be called at some point in the games. Quick will have to stand on his head and Kings will have to score on there chances. The Kings AHLers will have to grind through the playoffs and that's not going to happen. The Oilers in 6.

The Kings won't score on the power play. The pk isn't good either. 5 on 5 the Kings are good but will have to tailor their system to Edmonton.
Kings are a systematic team right now. Edmonton relies on talent. Edmonton does have a system but have guys that have the green light to step outside that system whenever they see an opportunity to attack.
LA will have to rely on 5 on 5 structure to beat out Edmonton's overall talent. Quick will be tested. Not so much on the volume of shots but in the quality of shots. Edmonton will turn up the volume on shots if they fall behind. Kings will just have to play their game and keep attacking. Don't sit back and let Edmonton come at them at will.

Offensively minded teams are at a disadvantage in the playoffs. Refs put the whistles away and allow defences to outright cheat in shutting down opposing forwards.

Kings are great on PK silly gooses not to mention the short handed goals. Oilers choke in playoffs.
Plain and simple..if oilers dont tighten up on d than this will be king victory in 6 if oilers do play solid d it will be Oilers in 6
